Conducted by the Global Drug Survey (GDS) core research team, the 2016 GDS blasted synthetic cannabinoids as the “Most Dangerous Drugs In the World.”

Demonized in the early 1900s, prohibited by the mid-1920s, entrapped by the 1937 marijuana tax act, synthetic cannabinoids are the deranged offspring of our government’s naked lust for power and control over its populace, otherwise known as Nixon’s War on Drugs.

Understanding that altered states of mind are an intrinsic human desire – and that marijuana is by far the safest recreational substance available – it’s my humble opinion that any harm caused by the creation of synthetic cannabinoids, thanks to prohibition, lays squarely at the feet of our modern anti-pot zealots.

Helping to explain the ugly chain of craziness in the news over the past few years, the 2016 Global Drug Survey (GDS) questioned/polled a total of 101,313 people from a total of 50 countries for their 2016 report.

Gathering data from between November 15, 2015 – January 16, 2016, the GDS concluded that after excluding all caffeine, tobacco, and alcohol products – marijuana/cannabis, MDMA, cocaine, amphetamines, LSD, psilocybin mushrooms, opioid medications, nitrous oxide, ketamine, and poppers … were high on everyone’s top 10 list of most popular recreational drugs.

In an attempt at snuff out the continuing downward spiral of ignorance in America, while gaining a greater understanding of what motivates us when no one is watching, the noble pollsters at the Global Drug Survey would like all to participate in a quick five-minute survey.

In addition to inquiring how psychedelics may have changed your life, what drugs you’ve vaped, and “What do you do when your mate collapses/passes out?” The GDS would also like to gain greater insight into the psychological effects of psychedelics, and how they might potentially change individuals. How MDMA is utilized to maximize pleasure, and what you think about the burgeoning legal drug trade and its related tourism.

Only after examining the dark underbelly of marijuana prohibition do we understand, we need to petition our relentlessly ignorant politicians to legalize real cannabis globally, as a means of ending this nightmare scenario for all…
